Sarah Ghazanfari

Computational Scientist

Sarah Ghazanfari, Ph.D., joined Advanced Researching Computing (ARC) as a computational scientist in March 2024. She brings more than six years of experience in multiscale modeling of advanced materials, finite element method, and cheminformatics.

Previously, Ghazanfari served four years as a high-performance computing service assistant at the Center for Computationally Assisted Science and Technology (CCAST) at North Dakota State University. Her background in civil engineering, coupled with her expertise in computational science, allows her to simulate complex behaviors of advanced nanomaterials. She uses her interdisciplinary abilities to facilitate collaborations, workshops, and technical support for ARC users while advancing research endeavors.
