Doug McMaster
Systems Engineer
Doug McMaster received his bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Virginia Tech and spent several years as a software engineer before turning his focus to systems engineering. Doug joined Virginia Tech in 2008 as a systems administrator for the Virginia Bioinformatics Institute and has since been involved in all aspects of enterprise and research computing. When he is not behind a terminal or in a data center, Doug enjoys spending time with family and friends, grilling and Hokie sports.
