Eslam Hussein

Graduate Research Assistant

Eslam joined ARC in 2019 as a GRA helpdesk. He started his graduate studies in the department of computer science at Virginia Tech in 2018. His research interests lie in the broad areas of social computing, natural language processing, and machine learning. Before joining Virginia Tech, he worked as a research associate at Qatar Computing Research Institute (QCRI), where he worked on graph analytics and search problems. Before QCRI, he worked as an assistant lecturer at Cairo University where he obtained his master's degree in Computer Science. In parallel with his work at Cairo University, he also worked as a software engineer in multiple companies in Cairo.
