Sofia Lima
Research Computing Facilitator
Sofia Lima joined ARC as a Research Computing Facilitator (RCF) in spring 2024. In this role, she provides user support for connecting to HPC systems, installing requested software, optimizing codes, and managing data. She has a background in biology with a master's degree in Computational Biology from Carnegie Mellon University and a bachelor's in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Vanderbilt University. Her current interests in research computing span mathematics and computer science, including machine learning and quantum computing.
